What do you get when you combine a New York Times best selling author, email, and Tinypass? You get 21 Day Happiness Projects from Gretchen Rubin delivered right to your inbox – check out http://bit.ly/14WiwNl.
Rubin is the author of several books, including the #1 New York Times and international bestseller, The Happiness Project, an account of the year she spent test-driving the wisdom of the ages, the current scientific studies, and the lessons from popular culture about how to be happier. The book has taken on a life of its own, spawning Happiness Project groups across the country, and world, as well as dozens of blogs launched by people following Gretchen’s example.
The Kansas City native and New York City resident, who has a wide and active following on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, recently began offering 21 Day Happiness Projects delivered via email. Gretchen describes the inspiration behind her new “courses” thusly:
“Over the years, I’ve heard from many people doing their own happiness projects, and several issues appear over and over. Fighting a never-ending battle with clutter. Feeling drained by someone else’s difficult nature. Feeling bad about yelling at your kids too much. Being out of touch with yourself.
For that reason, I’ve created four new “21 Day Projects” for you to follow, if you want to tackle one of these challenges. I’ve collected ideas in a form that makes it easier for people to remember and follow various connected resolutions on these particular themes.
In just 21 days, I believe, it really is possible to take many small, concrete steps to make your life happier. And don’t worry, none of these proposed resolutions will take much time or energy – because no one has much time or energy to spare.
So–voilà! I’m excited to be launching four 21 Day Happiness Projects.”
Each 21-Day Project costs $4.99, and delivers a new email every day for three weeks with ideas and suggestions from Gretchen. The four initial projects include:
- Getting To Know Yourself Better
- Quit Yelling At Your Kids
- De-Clutter Your Home and Your Life
- Cope Better With Difficult People
Count us as happy to be helping deliver affordable, actionable advice from Gretchen.
