At last count publishers in nearly 30 countries are using Tinypass and we can now add to that growing list a publisher from a unique corner of Europe, the island of Jersey in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy.
The Jersey Evening Post (JEP), which has served the island’s readers since 1890, has chosen Tinypass to power its paywall for jerseyeveningpost.com. After a new visitor to the JEP web site has read five complimentary stories in any given month they are prompted by Tinypass (see below) to register with The Post in order to unlock an additional five complimentary stories that month. Registered users are also granted access to Jersey’s biggest, online discussion forum.
Once a registered user has consumed their allotted free stories for the month they are again prompted by Tinypass to support The Post by subscribing to the site beginning at just 99p for the first month.
Here’s to 125 more years of serving the residents of Jersey!
