Le RGPD définit les règles de base de la protection des données à caractère personnel dans toute l'Union européenne. La directive ePrivacy, quant à elle, traite des communications électroniques et de l'utilisation des cookies et des traceurs. Ces deux textes sont complémentaires et doivent l'un comme l'autre être respectés.
