What is the difference between GDPR and ePrivacy?

GDPR lays out the ground rules for personal data protection across the EU. ePrivacy is a directive that deals with electronic communication and the use of cookies and trackers. The two are complementary guidelines and each needs to be adhered to to remain compliant.
