Quels sont les risques d’une non-conformité au RGPD ?
Louis-Marie Guérif, délégué à la protection des données (DPO) de Piano, présente les trois principales catégories de risques encourus par les entreprises non conformes. Les autorités chargées de la protection des données peuvent leur infliger des amendes à hauteur de 4 % de leur chiffre d'affaires total. De plus, les sociétés contrevenantes sont exposées à des atteintes à leur réputation du fait de la forte médiatisation des affaires. Enfin se pose un risque pour le traitement des données, dans la mesure où les commissions de la protection de la vie privée peuvent exiger la suppression de toutes les données recueillies en violation de la réglementation.
